Ingredients
Wash and tear up 2 cups of lettuce – romaine is good. Add some baby mixed greens for variety
Green onion, chopped fine
1/2 cucumber peeled, sliced, and cut in half
12 red seedless grapes, sliced in half
6 dried cherries
1 fresh date, chopped
1/4 of an avocado, chopped
Crumble up some blue cheese – gorgonzola is good, also Roaring 40s and Stilton.
Sprinkle with balsamic vinegar, drizzle with the best olive you can find, add sea salt and grind black pepper. Toss thoroughly.
If you have a loaf of good bread, cut up some up into squares and fry in olive oil for croutons.
